Manufacturing and 3D engineering

Professional 3D Printing and Engineering Solutions

Arkonix provides FDM 3D printing, modelling, scanning, prototyping and repeat production services for individuals and businesses across Europe.

What we do

Core services

Six focused services covering the entire path from idea to finished part.

Functional Part Manufacturing

We manufacture functional, replacement and custom-designed plastic parts from a supplied 3D model or technical brief. This process suits prototypes, one-off parts, and small to medium production runs.

3D Modelling and CAD Design

We create accurate 3D models from drawings, measurements, samples or a technical brief, and prepare them for prototyping, 3D printing and further production.

3D Scanning and Object Digitisation

We accurately capture the shape of physical objects as a digital 3D model. Scanning suits part reproduction, dimensional analysis, reverse engineering and further CAD design.

Prototype Design and Manufacturing

We build functional prototypes from a technical brief, drawings, 3D models or a physical sample, letting you validate a part's form, fit, function and design decisions before final production.

Small and Medium-Batch Part Manufacturing

We manufacture consistent, functional parts in small and medium batches. This solution suits projects that don't require costly tooling, where flexible quantities, fast turnaround and the ability to adjust the design matter most.

Laser Marking of Parts

We provide permanent laser marking of parts, including text, logos, serial numbers, QR codes and other technical information based on a supplied layout.

How a project unfolds

From Idea to Finished Product

A clear process, from needs assessment and design through prototyping and production to the final result.

  1. 01

    Project Discussion and Assessment

We analyse your requirements, along with any submitted files, drawings or physical parts, and agree on the scope of work, material, timeline and price.

  2. 02

Preparing the 3D Model for Production

We create or adjust the 3D model to meet the project's requirements, checking geometry and mounting points before preparing the file for production.

  3. 03

    Production

The part is manufactured according to the approved model and agreed parameters. Where needed, a test prototype is produced first.

  4. 04

    Inspection and Handover

We check the part's dimensions, assembly and any visible surface defects, then prepare the finished parts for collection or delivery.

For businesses

Manufacturing Solutions for Businesses

We manufacture functional parts, prototypes, jigs, fixtures and small to medium batches for business clients. Orders can be set up for repeat production, and every project is assessed on its technical requirements, material, quantity and delivery schedule.

Small-Batch Manufacturing of Technical PartsExample project
Service: Small-Batch Manufacturing

Small-Batch Manufacturing of Technical Parts

This project involved small-batch production of several different technical parts. The photo shows identical orange components, sorted by design type and arranged in production trays. The batch process allows a larger quantity of identical components to be prepared, simplifying sorting, tracking and subsequent use or assembly.

Design and Manufacture of a Custom Ventilation Adapter

A modular adapter fitted to the specific geometry of a ventilation system, connecting ducts of different shapes and sizes. The design is split into separate parts, making it easy to install, modify and adapt to different connections.

Why Arkonix

Why Choose Arkonix

1. Technical Project Assessment

Every request is assessed individually, taking into account the part's purpose, geometry, material and manufacturing feasibility. Before work begins, we review potential design issues, production risks and any changes that may be needed.

2. Production Matched to the Required Quantity

We can produce a single prototype, a replacement part, or a small run of repeated parts. Quantity, production method and lead time are matched to the needs of your specific project.

3. A Clearly Agreed Process

Before production, we agree on the scope of work, the material used, file preparation, price and expected timeline. You know in advance exactly what will be done and what result you can reasonably expect.

4. Confidential Project Handling

Drawings, 3D models, technical information and physical samples submitted by clients are used only to assess and carry out the project. Project data is not shared with third parties without the client's consent.

Have a Ready 3D File?

Send us a drawing, measurements, photos, or a production-ready STL or STEP file. We will assess the part's manufacturability, suitable material, price and timeline, and get in touch about the next steps.
